SEC Football: LSU, Florida rise in Week 11 2022 power rankings
By Matt Melton
10. Arkansas Razorbacks
Previous Ranking: 8
Dropping two spots to No. 10, Arkansas’ two-game winning streak was snapped on their home field Saturday afternoon, falling to Liberty by a final of 21-19. The Razorbacks first non-conference loss of the season, Arkansas trailed 21-3 going into halftime against the Flames, but were able to make things interesting late, even having a chance to tie the game with 1:11 remaining in the fourth quarter.
The Razorbacks will remain at home this Saturday as Arkansas is set to host LSU in a big SEC Football showdown. Arkansas is likely a home underdog against the Tigers, but also have everything needed to be a potential upset to watch for in Week 11.
9. Florida Gators
Previous Ranking: 12
Rising three spots up to No. 9, Florida got back in the win column Saturday afternoon with their previously mentioned win at Texas A&M, defeating the Aggies 41-24. As mentioned previously, the Gators outscored the Aggies 21-0 in the second half, and were led by an impressive four total touchdown performance from quarterback Anthony Richardson.
Florida will now return home in Week 11 as the Gators are set to host South Carolina in a matchup where they will likely be favored. The Gators will be looking to avenge last season’s 40-17 loss to the Gamecocks in Columbia, one that snapped what was a three-game Florida winning streak at the time.
