SEC Football: LSU, Florida rise in Week 11 2022 power rankings

2. Tennessee Volunteers
Previous Ranking: 2
Remaining at No. 2, Tennessee dropped their first game of the 2022 SEC Football season last Saturday, falling on the road to Georgia by a final of 27-13. A game in which the Volunteers led only once, Tennessee was held to only 289 yards of total offense, with their 13-point total being by far their fewest of the season.
Looking to get back in the win column, Tennessee will return home this Saturday for a matchup against Missouri. The Volunteers will be big favorites in this contest, and are likely to win by at-least two touchdowns.
1. Georgia Bulldogs
Previous Ranking: 1
Cementing themselves in the No. 1 spot, Georgia as mentioned previously remained unbeaten last Saturday with a 27-13 home win over Tennessee. An impressive performance from the Bulldogs, Georgia outgained the Volunteers 387-289 in total yardage, and even carried a 24-6 lead into halftime.
Now solely atop the SEC Football East, Georgia will travel to Mississippi State this Saturday in what is the Bulldogs first true road game since their 26-22 win at Missouri earlier this season. Georgia will be favored going into the contest, but could be put to the test defensively against the Mississippi State air-raid offense.
