October Commits:

  • 5-star C Aaron Bradshaw

Undoubtedly the biggest SEC Basketball recruiting winner during October was Kentucky, as the Wildcats continued to cement themselves atop the conference for the 2023 cycle. As for how they did that, the Wildcats landed a commitment from Aaron Bradshaw, who is Kentucky’s third Top 10 overall prospect addition in the 2023 class alone.

One of the nation’s top players in the 2023 class, Bradshaw is rated as a five-star prospect out of Camden High School in New Jersey. A talented prospect at 7-foot, Bradshaw is also squarely in the conversation for the nation’s No. 1 center, and likely projects to be a day one impact player with the Wildcats, potentially in a starting role.

As mentioned previously, Bradshaw is Kentucky’s third commitment in the 2023 recruiting cycle who is currently considered as a Top 10 overall prospect in the class, joining Justin Edwards and Robert Dillingham. Add in Reed Sheppard, who could also be a five-star by the time he steps foot in Lexington, and it’s clear as to why Kentucky has all but locked up SEC Basketball’s top 2023 recruiting class.
