Arguably SEC Football’s biggest game during Week 12, Kentucky is set to host top ranked Georgia from Kroger Field in Lexington on Saturday afternoon. A head-to-head matchup that Georgia has dominated in recent memory, the Bulldogs have won the last 12 meetings against the Wildcats, with Kentucky’s last win coming back in 2009 in Athens.

Beginning with a look at Kentucky, the Wildcats come into Saturday with a 6-4 overall record, as well as a 3-4 mark in SEC Football play. The Wildcats are also coming off a 24-21 loss at home to Vanderbilt, which also happened to be Kentucky’s fourth loss in their last six games.

The Wildcats also come into this contest averaging 23.3 PPG on offense, a group that is led by quarterback Will Levis, who holds 16:9 TD:INT ratio this season. Chris Rodriguez Jr is by far the Wildcats top rusher, while Kentucky also has three clear top receivers in Tayvion Robinson, Barion Brown, and Dane Key, each of which have 400+ receiving yards this season.

On defense, the Wildcats are allowing 20 PPG to opponents this season, while also having given up 25+ points only once this season (44 at Tennessee). Kentucky is led on that side of the ball by the linebacker duo of DeAndre Square and D’Eryk Jackson, while others such as Jordan Lovett, Jordan Wright, and JJ Weaver each have 35+ tackles on the year.

As for Georgia, the Bulldogs come to Lexington undefeated at 10-0, as well as 7-0 in SEC Football play. Ranked as the No. 1 team in the country according to the latest College Football Playoff rankings, Georgia is also coming off their third true road win of the season, defeating Mississippi State 45-19 in Starkville.

The Bulldogs offense currently ranks No. 7 nationally with an average of 40.6 PPG, a group that is led by quarterback Stetson Bennett. Brock Bowers, Ladd McConkey, and Darnell Washington have emerged as the Bulldogs top receivers, while the Georgia ground game features multiple names that include Daijun Edwards, Kenny McIntosh, Kendall Milton, and Branson Robinson.

Georgia’s defense is once again among the best in college football this season, ranking No. 2 in the country with only 11.6 PPG allowed to opponents. The Bulldogs have three players with 40+ tackles on the year in Malaki Starks, Jamon Dumas-Johnson, and Smael Mondon Jr, with others such as Christopher Smith, Javon Bullard, and Jalen Carter among the additional names to know.

Kentucky vs Georgia SEC Football Prediction

Even despite this game being played in what will likely be a packed Kroger Field, it still feels like Georgia wins this game by at-least two touchdowns. Yes, the Bulldogs and Wildcats’ defenses will likely keep this game fairly low-scoring, but Kentucky will not be able to keep up with Georgia on offense, leading to the nation’s top team remaining unbeaten. Prediction: Kentucky 14, Georgia 33
