For every season since 1992, the SEC Championship Game has been played at the conclusion of the regular season to decide a conference champion between the winners of both the East and West divisions.

Taking a complete look from 1992 to now, when was the last time each team from the conference won the SEC Championship Game?

When was the last time each SEC team won the SEC Championship Game?

Alabama Crimson Tide – 2021

Beginning here with Alabama, the Crimson Tide at the time of writing are the most recent team to win the SEC Championship Game, having last come in 2021. In that game, Alabama defeated Georgia by a final of 41-24 with MVP honors going to Alabama QB Bryce Young.

Arkansas Razorbacks – NA

Arkansas has never won the SEC Championship Game, but the Razorbacks have played in three since 1992. The Razorbacks fell to Florida twice in 1995 and 2006, while losing to Georgia in 2002.

Auburn Tigers – 2013

The Tigers last won the SEC Championship Game back in 2013, defeating Missouri by a final of 59-42. With MVP honors going to Auburn RB Tre Mason, the 59-point total for the Tigers is still to this day the most by a team in SEC Championship Game history.

Florida Gators – 2008

Florida’s last conference title came back in 2008 with a 31-20 win over Alabama, a game in which Gators QB Tim Tebow claimed MVP honors. Florida would eventually go on to claim the national championship later that season as well.

Georgia Bulldogs – 2017

At the time of writing, Georgia last won the SEC title game back in 2017. The Bulldogs defeated Auburn 28-7 in the contest, with MVP honors going to Georgia LB Roquan Smith, which was the last time a defensive player has claimed the honor in the SEC’s biggest game.

Kentucky Wildcats – NA

The first team on this list that this applies to, Kentucky has never played for an SEC championship in football.

LSU Tigers – 2019

LSU last claimed the SEC championship in 2019, which was the same season that the Tigers won the national championship. LSU defeated Georgia 37-10 in the contest, with MVP honors going to Tigers QB Joe Burrow.

Mississippi State Bulldogs – NA

Mississippi State has never won an SEC championship, but did play for one back in 1998 where the Bulldogs fell to Tennessee, 24-14.

Missouri Tigers – NA

Since entering the SEC back in 2012, Missouri has never won a conference title, but has however played for two, last falling to Alabama back in 2014 by a final of 42-13.

Ole Miss Rebels – NA

Similar to Kentucky, Ole Miss has not played for an SEC championship since 1992.

South Carolina Gamecocks – NA

South Carolina has never won the SEC Championship Game, but has however played for one in 2010, falling to Auburn by a final of 56-17.

Tennessee Volunteers – 1998

Tennessee last won an SEC title back in 1998, with MVP honors going to Volunteers WR Peerless Price. The Volunteers defeated Mississippi State 24-14 in the previously mentioned matchup with the Bulldogs.

Texas A&M Aggies – NA

Since joining the SEC in 2012, Texas A&M has never played for an SEC title in football.

Vanderbilt Commodores – NA
