Arkansas Football blows out Ole Miss behind Raheim Sanders
Arkansas Football beat the Ole Miss Rebels, 42-27. The game was not as close as the score suggests, as the Rebels scored some garbage-time TD’s late. Raheim Sanders had a monster day, rushing for 232 yards on 24 carries. Additionally, he ran for three touchdowns as well.
The game started out with a Dart fumble after four plays from the Ole Miss offense. The Razorbacks couldn’t take advantage of this and had to punt after three plays. Lucky for Arkansas Football, Ole Miss did almost the exact same thing and had to punt after 5 plays.
Arkansas’ running game went to work on this next drive and went down the field for a touchdown. Raheim Sanders and KJ Jefferson used their legs for a score. Despite having a semi-successful drive on their next drive, a holding penalty forced Ole Miss to punt again.
KJ Jefferson and Raheim Sanders went to work again, and the Razorbacks found themselves in the endzone again. Finally, the Rebels would drive down the field. Despite getting into Arkansas territory, they couldn’t finish and had to settle for three.
In response, Sanders and Jefferson cooked again getting Arkansas Football down the field. They finished off the drive with a KJ Jefferson pass to Ketron Jackson Jr for the score. Ole Miss was able to get down the field but couldn’t finish, and had to settle for three. They missed the 39-yard attempt. Arkansas could have ended the game right there by scoring a touchdown but went three and out.
Ole Miss went down the field again. They once again had to settle for three, making the 32-yard attempt this time. Arkansas quickly put to doubt any chance of a comeback by driving down the field again behind the rushing attack of Sanders. The Rebels started to drive down the field again, and on the Arkansas side of the field, Jaxson Dart was intercepted.
A touchdown drive later and this game was all but over going into the half. Arkansas led the Rebels, 35-6 at halftime. While Ole Miss would score some points in the fourth quarter, the game was all but over. In the fourth quarter, the SEC network decided to let all of their commenters for the game down to field level and do their usual tom-foolery.

Going into his game, I expected Ole Miss to win this game. This is another disappointing loss for the Rebels. The offense was non-existent until the fourth quarter. After this game, I don’t really think they will beat Mississippi State this week. While the Rebels have a shot, I think Mississippi State’s offense will light them up for points, just like the Razorbacks did.
Whether Lane Kiffin leaves or not will be a different story. Ole Miss certainly has fallen in recent weeks. It seems their issues have fallen caught up to them.
I was really impressed by the Razorbacks in this game. They didn’t have any meaningful turnovers, and the offense was able to work. This season will still be a disappointment, but at least they got bowl eligible. After the loss to Liberty, I was legitimately a little bit scared about them getting to bowl eligibility.
I thought they were gonna lose LSU and Ole Miss. I knew Missouri wasn’t gonna be easy as a lot of people think. While I think they beat Missouri in the last game of the season, I’m not 100 percent confident. Arkansas ended up playing LSU very close, and blowed out Ole Miss. They don’t even need to beat Missouri to get to bowl eligibility. Obviously, after the result of this one, they will probably beat Missouri next week.
The middle of the season was bad for the Razorbacks. Losses to Texas A&M and Mississippi State derailed Arkansas’ season. They lost those games due to turnover issues. This win and a win next week will help make up for those losses, and save the season from being a complete disaster.
