10. Missouri Tigers

Previous Ranking: 11

Currently undefeated at 8-0, Missouri rises a spot up to No. 10 in this week’s update. Included in that impressive start for the Tigers is a noteworthy 88-84 road win at Wichita State back on November 29, as well as currently averaging the fourth-most PPG nationally at 92.6.

Looking ahead at the remainder of the Tigers non-conference slate, it will certainly be a challenge if Missouri wants to remain unbeaten as Kansas, Illinois, and UCF all lie ahead before SEC play begins. If Missouri does however win those games, then the Tigers will be set for a significant rise in the next rankings update.

9. Texas A&M Aggies

Previous Ranking: 7

Also a notable team to drop this week is Texas A&M, who moves down two spots to No. 9. The Aggies are off to a 5-2 start to the 2022-23 season, one that includes losses to both Murray State and Colorado.

Sitting ahead for the Aggies are a few noteworthy non-conference showdowns with teams such as Boise State and Oregon State, as well as a road trip to Memphis. Should the Aggies win at least two of those games, then Texas A&M could very easily be in for a rise in the next update entering conference play.
