10. Ole Miss Rebels

Previous Ranking: 8

A team that drops two spots to No. 10 this week, Ole Miss has simply struggled dating back to late-November, having dropped four of their last six games after a 6-0 start to the year. Included in that recent stretch during December were wins over Temple and Valparaiso, but also losses to UCF and North Alabama.

Now sitting at 8-4 on the year, Ole Miss will open SEC basketball play on December 28 at home against Tennessee.

9. Georgia Bulldogs

Previous Ranking: 12

One of the biggest risers of the week was in fact Georgia, as the Bulldogs jumped three spots up to No. 9 coming off their 9-3 mark in non-conference play. Since falling to UAB back on November 22, the Bulldogs have gone on an impressive run on the court by winning five of their last six games over teams such as Notre Dame and Chattanooga, with the lone loss having come on the road at Georgia Tech, 79-77.

The Bulldogs have one more matchup remaining in their non-conference slate on December 28 against Rider, a game in which Georgia will likely be favored. Georgia will then open SEC play on January 4 at home against Auburn.
