10. Kentucky Wildcats

Notable Players Returning:

  • WR Barion Brown
  • WR Dane Key
  • LB D’Eryk Jackson
  • DB Jordan Lovett
  • LB Trevin Wallace

After a 10-win season in 2021, Kentucky had a bit of a down 2022, finishing the season at 7-6 overall (3-5 in SEC). Looking ahead, the Wildcats will have a few key names to replace in 2023, but do also have some key playmakers returning on both sides of the ball, while also having made one of the biggest splashes in the transfer portal of any SEC football team so far in quarterback Devin Leary.

9. Texas A&M Aggies

Notable Players Returning:

  • WR Evan Stewart
  • WR Moose Muhammad III
  • QB Conner Weigman
  • DB Jardin Gilbert
  • LB Edgerrin Cooper

The 2022 season was certainly one to forget in College Station, one in which Texas A&M (5-7 overall, 2-6 in SEC) posted their lowest win total since 2008. As for 2023, don’t count on the Aggies to have a similar season on the gridiron, as Texas A&M could very easily bounce back, headlined by one of the SEC’s top wide receiver duos in Evan Stewart and Moose Muhammad III.
