Previous Ranking: 13

Vanderbilt rises a spot up to No. 12 this week, with the Commodores sitting at 9-8 overall, as well as 2-2 in the SEC. The Commodores have gone 3-2 since Christmas with losses at both Missouri and Tennessee, as well as wins over Southeastern Louisiana, South Carolina, and Arkansas, whom the Commodores defeated 97-84 at home Saturday.

The Commodores looking ahead will now host a Top 10 team this week, as Alabama is set to come to Nashville on Tuesday. Vanderbilt will then travel on Saturday to Athens for a showdown against Georgia.

11. LSU Tigers

Previous Ranking: 7

LSU drops a total of four spots this week to No. 11, with the Tigers having entered the week at 12-5 overall, as well as 1-4 in SEC play. After winning their SEC basketball opener back on December 28 over Arkansas, the Tigers have lost four-straight against Kentucky, Texas A&M, Florida, and Saturday at Alabama, 106-66.

Looking to get back in the win column, LSU will return home this week for two games, both of which come against ranked opponents. The Tigers will host Auburn on Wednesday night, followed by hosting Tennessee on Saturday.
