SEC News: Latest AP Poll, Georgia lands two 2025 commits

To begin your Tuesday, here are some of the biggest headlines that you need to know from across the SEC on Monday, as well as a look ahead to today’s games from the conference.

Four SEC teams ranked in latest AP Poll

Released on Monday afternoon, there were a total of four SEC teams ranked in the latest AP Poll. Those four teams were Alabama (4), Tennessee (9), Auburn (16), and Arkansas (25).

Alabama OT Damieon George transfers to Florida

Alabama offensive tackle Damieon George has transferred to Florida after three seasons with the Crimson Tide. George is a former three-star prospect in the 2020 class.

Five SEC teams included in Top Six for 4-star CB Jayden Lewis

Jayden Lewis, a four-star cornerback in the 2024 class out of Anniston High School in Alabama, released a top six list Monday, which included five SEC teams. Those teams were Arkansas, Auburn, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Tennessee, who join Florida State from the ACC.

Georgia WR Dominick Blaylock enters transfer portal

After four seasons in Athens, Georgia wide receiver Dominick Blaylock has entered the transfer portal. Blaylock, a former highly-rated four-star prospect in the 2019 class, had 15 receptions for 227 yards and a touchdown this past season for the Bulldogs.

Georgia lands 2025 four-star prospects Justus Terry, Micah Debose

Georgia added two commitments to their 2025 class Monday, landing a pair of highly-rated four-star’s in Justus Terry and Micah Debose. Terry is a defensive lineman out of in-state Manchester High School, while Debose is an offensive lineman out of Vigor High School in Alabama.
