Kentucky, Florida rise in latest 2022-23 SEC Basketball power rankings
14. South Carolina Gamecocks

We begin here this week with South Carolina, who falls a spot back to No. 14, currently sitting at 8-11 overall, as well as 1-5 in SEC play. The Gamecocks went 0-2 this past week, beginning with a 70-58 midweek loss to previous No. 14 Ole Miss at home, followed by an 81-66 home defeat to Auburn on Saturday.
Currently on a three-game losing streak that dates back to January 14, South Carolina will travel for both games this upcoming week, beginning with a trip to Florida on Wednesday night. South Carolina will also travel to Georgia on Saturday in one of the few SEC basketball in-conference matchups that day.
13. Ole Miss Rebels

Speaking of the Rebels, Ole Miss rises a spot up to No. 13 this week coming off their 70-58 road win at South Carolina last Tuesday night, which snapped a then six-game losing streak. Ole Miss however then dropped their most recent contest Saturday, falling on the road at Arkansas, 69-57.
Ole Miss (9-10 overall, 1-6 in SEC) will look to get back in the win column this week, starting this Tuesday at home with a matchup against Missouri. The Rebels will then travel Saturday afternoon for a matchup with Oklahoma State in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge.
