South Carolina Gamecocks

January Commits:

  • 4-star OT Kam Pringle
  • 4-star LB Wendell Gregory
  • 4-star TE Michael Smith
  • 3-star WR Elijah Caldwell

South Carolina was also a key winner during January, especially when it comes to their 2024 class, as the Gamecocks landed three commitments to that group across the last month. Of that group, the biggest name was likely that of Kam Pringle, who is a four-star offensive tackle out of in-state Woodland High School.

In addition to Pringle, the Gamecocks also added two other 2024 four-star’s in Wendell Gregory and Michael Smith, both of which are from Georgia. Gregory is a linebacker out of Walton High School, while Smith is a tight end out of Calvary Day School.

South Carolina’s fourth commitment was also their lone addition to the 2023 class in Elijah Caldwell. Caldwell is rated as a three-star wide receiver out of in-state Northwestern High School.
