SEC Basketball: Alabama, Kentucky rise in latest 2022-23 power rankings

12. LSU Tigers

Also remaining in the No. 12 spot is LSU, who now sits at 12-11 overall, as well as 1-9 in SEC play. The Tigers are coming off their fifth consecutive 0-2 week on the hardwood, which included an 87-77 road loss at Missouri on Wednesday, as well as a 79-69 home loss to Alabama on Saturday.

Currently on a 10-game losing streak that dates back to December 28, LSU will now travel to Mississippi State on Wednesday night. The Tigers will also return home Saturday for a matchup with Texas A&M.

11. Vanderbilt Commodores

Previous Ranking: 11

Vanderbilt also remains at the No. 11 spot this week, as the Commodores currently sit at 11-12 overall, as well as 4-6 in the SEC. As for what their last week looked like, Vanderbilt originally had a rough start to the week by falling on the road at Alabama on Tuesday, 101-44, but would go on to snap their three-game losing streak Saturday at home against Ole Miss, 74-71.

Looking ahead, the Commodores will begin this week at home Wednesday night, where Vanderbilt will host in-state rival Tennessee. The Commodores will then travel to Gainesville on Saturday for a showdown with Florida.
