SEC Basketball: Kentucky, Arkansas rise in latest 2022-23 power rankings

6. Missouri Tigers

Previous Ranking: 7

Missouri rises a spot this week up to the No. 6 spot, as the Tigers now sit at 21-8 overall, as well as 9-7 in the SEC. The Tigers are coming off an impressive 2-0 week on the hardwood, one that began Tuesday night with a 66-64 overtime win against Mississippi State, and was followed by an 85-63 road win at Georgia on Saturday.

The Tigers will now begin the final week of the regular season this Wednesday, as Missouri travels to LSU. Missouri will then conclude the week by traveling to Ole Miss on Saturday for a showdown with the Rebels.

5. Arkansas Razorbacks

Previous Ranking: 6

Beginning the top five this week is Arkansas (19-10 overall, 8-8 in SEC), as the Razorbacks move up a spot to No. 5 in our latest update. The Razorbacks originally began this past week at home with a 97-65 win against Georgia on Tuesday, but would however fall at Alabama on Saturday in a close contest, 86-83.

The Razorbacks now have a pair of significant matchups set for the final week of the 2022-23 SEC basketball regular season, which will begin Tuesday night with a trip to Tennessee. Arkansas will then conclude the week Saturday by hosting Kentucky.
