4. Tennessee Volunteers

Previous Ranking: 3

Dropping a spot to No. 4 this week is Tennessee, as the Volunteers now sit at 21-8 overall, as well as 10-6 in the SEC. The Volunteers originally began the week by falling on the road at Texas A&M by a final score of 68-63, but rebounded with a 85-45 blowout win at home Saturday over South Carolina.

Tennessee will now begin the final week of the regular season Tuesday night by hosting Arkansas in the previously mentioned matchup. The Volunteers will then close the regular season Saturday on the road at Auburn.

3. Kentucky Wildcats

Previous Ranking: 4

One of SEC basketball’s most notable risers a week ago, Kentucky also jumps a spot in this latest update to No. 3 as well, with the Wildcats currently sitting at 20-9 overall, as well as 11-5 in the SEC. The Wildcats originally began the week with an 82-74 road win at Florida on Wednesday, and would follow that up with an impressive showing at home Saturday, defeating Auburn by a final score of 86-54.

Having now won four-straight, Kentucky will remain at home to begin the final week of the regular season, which comes Wednesday night against Vanderbilt. The Wildcats will then travel Saturday to Fayetteville for a matchup against Arkansas.
