Compared to recent months, February was not necessarily as active a month for SEC football on the recruiting trail, as only eight teams from the conference landed a commitment. Of those eight teams, here are five in particular who were among the conference’s biggest recruiting winners during February. (Rankings courtesy of 247Sports Composite

February Commits:

  • 4-star QB Walker White
  • 4-star CB Jayden Lewis
  • DL Malik Autry

The first SEC football program on this list is Auburn, as the Tigers continued their recent recruiting momentum under new head coach Hugh Freeze during February landing three commitments, the most of any SEC team. Of those three, two came from the Tigers 2024 class, while Auburn also added their first commit of the 2025 cycle.

The highest-rated of those two 2024 commits was Walker White, a four-star quarterback out of Little Rock Christian Academy in Arkansas, who is also the state’s top player. White is also considered a Top 10 quarterback in the class, and was joined by Jayden Lewis in Auburn’s 2024 commitments during February, who is a four-star cornerback out of in-state Anniston High School.

Auburn’s first 2025 commit was Malik Autry, who is currently not-ranked according to 247Sports. Autry is a defensive lineman out of in-state Opelika High School.
