Evan Engram to be franchise tagged by Jacksonville Jaguars
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Evan Engram is expected to be franchise tagged by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Engram, a former 2017 first round pick out of Ole Miss, had one of the best seasons of his career with Jacksonville in 2022, amassing 766 yards and four touchdowns on 73 receptions across 17 games.
TCU TE Geor’Quarius Spivey commits to Mississippi State
Mississippi State landed a commitment Thursday afternoon from tight end Geor’Quarius Spivey, who is transferring from TCU. Spivey, a former three-star prospect from the 2018 class, originally began his collegiate career at Mississippi State, and has spent the last two seasons at TCU, hauling in 11 receptions for 136 yards and a touchdown across 15 games this past fall.
LSU, Tennessee included in Top 6 for 4-star SG Juke Harris
Juke Harris released a list of his top six schools Thursday with LSU and Tennessee as the lone SEC teams included alongside Kansas, Miami, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest. Harris is rated as a four-star shooting guard in the 2024 class out of Salisbury High School in North Carolina.
Vanderbilt C Liam Robbins to miss remainder of season
It was announced Friday that Vanderbilt center Liam Robbins would miss the remainder of the 2022-23 season with an injury. Robbins had averaged 15 PPG, 6.8 RPG, and 3.2 BPG (leads SEC) for the Commodores this season.
4-star SF Kris Parker commits to Alabama
Alabama landed the fourth commitment of their 2023 class Friday in Kris Parker, who committed to the Crimson Tide over Missouri, UCF, and Villanova. Parker is rated as a four-star small forward out of Crossroad Academy in Florida.
