The 2022-23 SEC basketball regular season has now officially come to an end, meaning that the highly-anticipated SEC Tournament is set to begin this Wednesday night from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN.

However, before the action begins in Nashville, let’s update our 2022-23 SEC basketball power rankings for the second-to-last time this season, which features a rise from both Missouri and Auburn ahead of the 2023 SEC Tournament.

14. LSU Tigers

Previous Ranking: 14

Remaining in the No. 14 spot to open this week is LSU, as the Tigers now sit at 13-18 overall, as well as 2-16 in the SEC. The Tigers dropped both of their contests this past week, falling at home to Missouri on Wednesday, 81-76, as well as at Florida on Saturday, 79-67.

LSU, who is the No. 14 seed in the 2023 SEC Tournament, will now play Wednesday night against No. 11 seed Georgia.

13. Ole Miss Rebels

Previous Ranking: 13

Ole Miss remains in the No. 13 spot in this week’s update, as the Rebels now sit at 11-20 overall, as well as 3-15 in the SEC. The Rebels dropped both games during the final week of the regular season, which came against Texas A&M on Tuesday, 69-61, as well as at Missouri on Saturday, 82-77.

The Rebels are now the No. 13 seed in this week’s SEC Tournament, and will begin play against No. 12 seed South Carolina on Wednesday night.
