SEC Basketball: Missouri, Auburn rise in latest 2022-23 power rankings

10. Florida Gators

Florida remains in the No. 10 spot to conclude the SEC basketball regular season, now sitting at 16-15 overall, as well as 9-9 in the SEC. The Gators are coming off a strong last week on the hardwood, which featured a 77-67 road win at Georgia on Tuesday night, as well as a 79-67 home win over LSU on Saturday.

The Gators are now the No. 8 seed in the upcoming SEC Tournament, and will begin play Thursday afternoon against nine-seed Mississippi State.

9. Mississippi State Bulldogs

Previous Ranking: 8

Speaking of the Bulldogs, Mississippi State drops a spot to No. 9 in the final update before the SEC Tournament, now sitting at 20-11 overall, as well as 8-10 in the SEC. The Bulldogs originally began this past week with a 74-68 home win over South Carolina, but would fall at Vanderbilt on Saturday, 77-72.

The Bulldogs are now the No. 9 seed in the SEC Tournament, and will play eight-seed Florida on Thursday.
