6. Auburn Tigers

Auburn rises a spot to No. 6 coming off their final week of the 2022-23 SEC basketball regular season, as the Tigers now sit at 20-11 overall, as well as 10-8 in SEC play. The Tigers originally began the week with a 90-85 overtime road loss at Alabama, but would rebound Saturday at home with a 79-70 win over Tennessee.

The Tigers will now be the No. 7 seed in the 2023 SEC Tournament, and will play Thursday against the No. 10 seed Arkansas Razorbacks.

5. Missouri Tigers

Rising a spot up to No. 5 as we enter the SEC Tournament is Missouri, with the Tigers now sitting at 23-8 overall, as well as 11-7 in the SEC. The Tigers have been one of SEC basketball’s hottest teams across the last two weeks, with Missouri owning an 81-76 road win at LSU on Wednesday night, as well as an 82-77 home win over Ole Miss on Saturday.

Having now won four consecutive games, Missouri will now be the No. 4 seed in this week’s SEC Tournament, and will play Friday against an opponent to be determined.
