Lorenzo Carter re-signs with Atlanta Falcons

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Lorenzo Carter is re-signing with the Atlanta Falcons on a two-year deal. Carter, a former 2018 third round pick out of Georgia, appeared in 17 games for the Falcons this past season, totaling 58 tackles, six TFL, and four sacks.

Georgia CB Jaheim Singletary transferring to Arkansas

Georgia cornerback Jaheim Singletary announced Tuesday that he would be transferring within the SEC to Arkansas after one season in Athens. Singletary, a former five-star prospect from the 2022 class out of Riverside High School in Florida, did not record any stats this past season with the Bulldogs as a freshman.

LSU lands Maryland transfer OL Mason Lunsford

LSU landed a key transfer commitment along the offensive line Tuesday from Mason Lunsford, who joins the Tigers from Maryland. A former three-star prospect from the 2019 class, Lunsford started at left guard for the Terrapins a year ago.

3-star LB Fred Clark commits to Ole Miss

Ole Miss landed the second commitment of their 2024 class Tuesday in Fred Clark. Clark is rated as a three-star linebacker out of in-state Winona Secondary School.

5-star SF Trentyn Flowers to make decision March 17

Trentyn Flowers will be making his collegiate decision March 17, deciding between a list of finalists that includes Alabama, Arkansas, Creighton, Kansas, Louisville, and North Carolina. Flowers is rated as a five-star small forward in the 2024 class out of Combine Academy in North Carolina.

Alabama’s Brandon Miller named finalist for Julius Erving Award

Alabama freshman forward Brandon Miller has been named a finalist for the Julius Erving Award, which recognizes the top small forward in college basketball. Miller, the 2022-23 SEC Player and Freshman of the Year, is averaging 19.6 PPG and 8 RPG for the Crimson Tide this season, while also shooting a combined 40.4% from three and 85% from the free throw line.
