Auburn Basketball way-too-early roster outlook for 2023-24 season
Graduation:
- G Zep Jasper
Auburn is set to lose at-least one name from their 2022-23 roster due to graduation in Zep Jasper, who started in all 34 games for the Tigers this past season. Jasper would average 2.8 PPG across 18 MPG, and was a key piece in the Auburn backcourt on the defensive end in particular.

- F Johni Broome
- G Wendell Green Jr.
- G Allen Flanigan
- F Jaylin Williams
- G Lior Berman
- C Babatunde Akingbola
- G Chandler Leopard
- G Jalen Harper
A majority of Auburn basketball’s decisions to watch for come from seniors who might have an extra year of eligibility remaining, a group that includes two prominent names in Allen Flanigan and Jaylin Williams. Two potential NBA Draft decisions to watch for are from Johni Broome and Wendell Green Jr., with the duo both ranking as the Tigers top two scorers this past season.
Likely Set to Return:
- G K.D. Johnson
- G Tre Donaldson
- C Dylan Cardwell
- F Chris Moore
- F Yohan Traore
- G Chance Westry

- G Presley Patterson
- C Haston Alexander
Likely the biggest name set to return for the Tigers next season is guard K.D. Johnson, a rising senior who averaged 8.9 PPG off Auburn’s bench this past year, while Tre Donaldson is another prominent guard who will return. Dylan Cardwell and Chris Moore are experienced reserve options who will return in the frontcourt, while Yohan Traore and Chance Westry will be both be entering their sophomore seasons.
New Faces:
- G Aden Holloway
At the moment, Auburn has only one new face set to join the roster next season in Aden Holloway. Holloway is a highly-rated four-star prospect in the 2023 class, and is considered among the top point guards in the entire country.
