8. Ole Miss Rebels

Previous Ranking: 5

The biggest team to drop this week was Ole Miss falling three spots to No. 8, with the Rebels now sitting at 15-9 overall, as well as 0-6 in SEC play. Ole Miss originally began the week by snapping their four-game losing streak with an 11-1 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Tuesday, but would be swept in their second SEC baseball weekend series of the year against Florida by final scores of 9-7, 12-8, and 7-4.

Having now lost seven of their last eight games, the Rebels will face Southern Miss on Tuesday, an opponent whom they previously defeated 11-5 back on March 7. Ole Miss will then travel to face Texas A&M this weekend.

7. Kentucky Wildcats

Previous Ranking: 10

One of the biggest risers of the week was Kentucky, with the Wildcats jumping three spots to No. 7 now sitting at 21-3 overall, as well as 5-1 in conference play. Kentucky originally began this past week with a 9-3 home win over Eastern Kentucky, and would be followed by a series road win at Alabama in which the Wildcats won games one and two, 4-3 and 9-5, before falling in game three, 4-3.

The Wildcats will now travel this Tuesday for a non-conference matchup against an in-state foe, Western Kentucky. Kentucky will then host Missouri this weekend in SEC baseball action.
