The SEC football recruiting trail certainly began to heat back up during March, with both Ole Miss and LSU headlining the conference’s biggest recruiting winners during the month. Here is a look at who the Rebels and Tigers added during March, as well as a few honorable mentions who should also be mentioned. (Rankings courtesy of 247Sports Composite)

March Commits:

  • 4-star DL Jeffrey Rush
  • 3-star RB Chris Davis
  • 3-star LB Fred Clark
  • 3-star WR Jeremy Scott
  • LB Raymond Collins

Beginning with a look at the Rebels, Ole Miss landed five total commitments during the month of March. All five of those commitments came in the Rebels 2024 recruiting class, a group that had only one name verbally committed entering March in four-star quarterback Demond Williams.

The biggest name to commit to Ole Miss during March was that of four-star defensive lineman Jeffrey Rush, who is one of Mississippi’s top 2024 in-state prospects out of Pascagoula High School. Ole Miss also landed two additional commitments on the defensive side of the ball from a pair of in-state linebackers – three-star Fred Clark (Winona Secondary School) and Raymond Collins (Jones College).

On the offensive side of the ball, the Rebels also landed two additional in-state prospects in Chris Davis and Jeremy Scott. Davis is a three-star running back out of Piceyune Memorial, while Scott is a three-star wide receiver out of Callaway High School.
