Ole Miss, Mississippi State among SEC Basketball March recruiting winners
Ole Miss Rebels
March Commits:
- 4-star C Rashaud Marshall
Ole Miss and new head coach Chris Beard landed the highest-rated commitment of any SEC team during March in Rashaud Marshall, who had previously de-committed from the Rebels back in February after having been committed since July of 2022. Marshall is rated as a four-star center out of Blytheville High School in Arkansas, and is now the highest-rated commit in Ole Miss’ 2023 class.
Mississippi State Bulldogs
March Commits:
- 4-star PG Josh Hubbard
Mississippi State also landed the highest-rated commitment of their 2023 class during the month of March in Josh Hubbard, who had also previously de-comitted from Ole Miss back in February after having been committed since September of 2022. Rated as a four-star point guard out of in-state Madison-Ridgeland Academy, Hubbard is considered as the No. 1 overall player in the state of Mississippi in the 2023 class.
Alabama Crimson Tide
March Commits:
- 4-star SF Kris Parker
The final SEC basketball team on this list, Alabama landed their third commitment of the 2023 cycle during March in Kris Parker, who was one of the nation’s top remaining uncommitted prospects in the class at the time of committing to the Crimson Tide. Parker is rated as a four-star small forward out of Crossroad Academy in Florida, and is Alabama’s second total commitment of the 2023 cycle from the state of Florida, joining fellow four-star forward Sam Walters out of The Villages Charter.
