Alabama F Noah Clowney declares for 2023 NBA Draft
After one season in Tuscaloosa, Alabama freshman forward Noah Clowney officially declared for the 2023 NBA Draft on Saturday afternoon. Clowney, an SEC All-Freshman selection, started in 36-of-36 games for the Crimson Tide this past season, averaging 9.8 PPG and 7.9 RPG on 48.6% shooting from the field.
4-star OT Mason Short commits to Alabama
Alabama landed the second commitment of their 2025 recruiting class Sunday afternoon, as Mason Short has committed to the Crimson Tide. Short is rated as a four-star offensive tackle out of Evans High School in Georgia.
3 SEC programs included in Top 6 for Washington transfer Keyon Menifield Jr.
Alabama, Arkansas, and Tennessee were the three SEC programs included in the Top 6 for Washington transfer guard Keyon Menifield Jr. on Sunday afternoon, with the group also joined by Louisville, Ohio State, and Washington. Menifield was a Pac-12 All-Freshman selection this past season with the Huskies, starting in 21-of-32 games to average 10 PPG, 2.9 RPG, and 3.1 APG.
Auburn G Wendell Green Jr. declares for 2023 NBA Draft
Auburn guard Wendell Green Jr. officially declared for the 2023 NBA Draft on Sunday afternoon. Green started in all 34 games for the Tigers this past season, averaging 13.7 PPG, 3.2 RPG, 4.1 APG, and 1.7 SPG, while also shooting 84.2% from the free throw line.
Mississippi State F Tolu Smith declares for 2023 NBA Draft
Mississippi State forward Tolu Smith declared for the 2023 NBA Draft on Sunday, while also maintaining his collegiate eligibility. Smith was one of the SEC’s top frontcourt players this past season, averaging 15.7 PPG and 8.5 RPG, as well as shooting a combined 57.2% from the field.
