Coming off the third weekend of conference play, which teams rose and fell in our latest 2023 SEC baseball power rankings?

Vanderbilt, Auburn rise in latest 2023 SEC Baseball power rankings

We begin once again this week with Mississippi State, as the Bulldogs now sit at 16-13 overall, as well as 1-8 in the SEC. After beginning the week Tuesday with a 9-4 home win over Samford, the Bulldogs would drop games one and three against South Carolina this past weekend, 6-4 and 14-5, respectively, but would however hand the Gamecocks their first SEC baseball loss of the year Friday with a 13-3 win.

Mississippi State will now remain at home Tuesday night for a non-conference matchup against Grambling. The Bulldogs will then travel to Tuscaloosa this weekend for a three-game series with Alabama.

Also remaining in the No. 13 spot this week is Georgia, as the Bulldogs now sit at 15-13 overall, as well as 1-8 in SEC play. A team that simply struggled this past week, the Bulldogs originally began play Wednesday night with a 12-2 loss to Georgia Southern, and would later be swept on the road at Vanderbilt by final scores of 9-2, 16-8, and 4-0.

Having now lost four-straight, Georgia will return to action Tuesday night on the road at Kennesaw State. The Bulldogs will then return home this weekend for a three-game series against Kentucky.
