The first team to drop a spot this week is Missouri to No. 12, with the Tigers now sitting at 19-9 overall this season, as well as 3-6 in the SEC. Missouri would originally begin the week with a pair of road non-conference wins at Illinois and Lindenwood, 6-5 and 7-5, respectively, but would also be swept at Kentucky during the weekend by final scores of 12-2, 10-0, and 3-1.

Having now lost three-straight, the Tigers will not play a midweek matchup this week, and will instead return to action this weekend for a home series against Vanderbilt.

The biggest team to drop in this week’s update is Ole Miss, as the Rebels fall three spots to No. 11 now sitting at 16-11 overall for the year, as well as 1-8 in SEC play. Ole Miss would drop games one and three, respectively, at Texas A&M this past weekend by final scores of 8-6 and 5-4, but would collect their first SEC baseball win of the season in game two with a 14-7 victory.

Looking ahead, the Rebels will now begin this week Tuesday night with a road trip to Memphis. Ole Miss will then return home this weekend for a three-game series with Arkansas.
