SEC Baseball: Vanderbilt, Auburn rise in latest 2023 power rankings

Remaining in the No. 4 spot this week is Arkansas, as the Razorbacks are currently sitting at 23-5 overall, as well as 6-3 in the SEC. The Razorbacks originally began the week with a 16-3 win over Omaha on Tuesday, and despite dropping game one against Alabama, 12-1, would bounce back in games two and three to win by final scores of 9-6 and 5-4, respectively.

Arkansas will now begin this week Tuesday night with a matchup against Arkansas State. The Razorbacks will then travel to Ole Miss for a series this weekend.

Dropping a spot to No. 3 in this week’s update is Florida, as the Gators now sit at 24-5 overall, as well as 7-2 in the SEC. After their midweek matchup against Florida State was postponed, the Gators would go on to drop game one against Auburn on Friday by a final score of 10-1, but would bounce back with two other wins over the Tigers, 12-5 and 17-8.

Florida will now return to action Tuesday night against Bethune at home. The Gators will then travel to Knoxville this weekend for one of the top SEC baseball series’ this weekend at Tennessee.
