SEC News: Florida lands 4-star QB, South Carolina adds transfer

Here are a few recent news’ headlines to know from across the SEC on both Monday and Tuesday, which features Florida landing a four-star quarterback, South Carolina adding a transfer, and more.
South Carolina lands The Citadel transfer F Stephen Clark
South Carolina landed a noteworthy transfer commitment Monday morning from Stephen Clark, who will be transferring to the Gamecocks from The Citadel. Clark started in all 32 games for The Citadel this past season, averaging 16.3 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 2.8 APG, and 1.8 BPG.
3-star C Jesse McCulloch to announce decision April 20
A three-star center from the 2024 class out of Lutheran East in Ohio, Jesse McCulloch will be announcing his collegiate decision on April 20. McCulloch will be deciding between four finalists – Alabama, Michigan State, Virginia Tech, and Xavier.
4-star LB Dylan Williams releases Top 7 schools
A four-star linebacker in the 2024 class out of Long Beach Poly High School in California, Dylan Williams released his top seven schools Tuesday. Those seven schools were Alabama, Miami, Michigan, Oregon, Penn State, Texas, and UCLA.
Kentucky G Antonio Reeves declares for 2023 NBA Draft
Kentucky guard Antonio Reeves announced that he would be declaring for the 2023 NBA Draft on Tuesday, while also maintaining his collegiate eligibility. The SEC Co-Sixth Man of the Year, Reeves started in 14-of-34 games this past season at Kentucky, averaging 14.4 PPG and 2.1 RPG, while also shooting 39.8% from three and 78.3% from the free throw line.
4-star QB Austin Simmons commits to Florida
Florida landed the first commitment of their 2025 recruiting class Tuesday in Austin Simmons, a four-star quarterback. Simmons is an in-state prospect out of Pahokee High School in Florida.
Alabama G Jaden Bradley enters transfer portal
A former five-star prospect in the 2022 class, Alabama guard Jaden Bradley entered the transfer portal Tuesday after only one season with the Crimson Tide. An SEC All-Freshman Team selection, Bradley started in 22-of-37 games this past season at Alabama, averaging 6.4 PPG, 2.6 RPG, and 3.1 APG.
