South Carolina, Georgia rise in latest 2023 SEC Baseball power rankings
14. Missouri Tigers
Previous Ranking: 12
We begin this week with a new No. 14 team, as Missouri drops two spots now sitting at 20-11 for the year, as well as 4-8 in the SEC. Not playing a midweek matchup, the Tigers would go on to win game two against Vanderbilt by a final score of 5-4, but would drop games one and three, 7-6 and 5-0, respectively.
Having now lost five of their last six games, the Tigers will return to action Tuesday on the road at Missouri State. Missouri will also travel this weekend for an SEC series at Texas A&M.
13. Ole Miss Rebels
Previous Ranking: 11
Also dropping two spots to No. 13 this week is Ole Miss, as the Rebels now sit at 18-13 overall for the year, as well as 2-10 in conference play. The Rebels would originally begin this past week with a 7-2 road win at Memphis, as well as drop games one and three, 11-2 and 6-4, respectively, at home to Arkansas, along with defeating the Razorbacks in game two, 7-4.
Ole Miss will now return to action Tuesday night against that same Memphis team at home, while also hosting Alcorn State on Wednesday. The Rebels will then host in-state rival Mississippi State for three games this weekend.
