6. Tennessee Volunteers

Previous Ranking: 7

Rising a spot this week up to No. 6 is Tennessee, as the Volunteers now sit at 22-10 overall, as well as 5-7 in SEC play. Not playing a midweek game, the Volunteers would originally drop games one and two at home to Florida during the weekend, 6-1 and 9-3, respectively, but would bounce back in a big way in game three with a 14-2 win.

The Volunteers will now return to action Tuesday night at home for a non-conference matchup against Eastern Kentucky. Tennessee will then travel to Arkansas for an intriguing SEC baseball series with the Razorbacks this weekend.

5. Arkansas Razorbacks

Previous Ranking: 4

Speaking of the team from Fayetteville, dropping a spot to No. 5 this week is Arkansas, as the Razorbacks now sit at 25-6 overall, as well as 8-4 in the SEC. Playing only three games this past week, the Razorbacks would take games one and three at Ole Miss by final scores of 11-2 and 6-4, respectively, but would drop game two, 7-4.

Arkansas will now play a pair of midweek contests on Tuesday and Wednesday night, which come against Little Rock. The Razorbacks will then host Tennessee this weekend for three games in Fayetteville.
