6. Arkansas Razorbacks

Previous Ranking: 4

A noteworthy team to fall this week was Arkansas out of the top five to No. 6, as the Razorbacks now sit at 30-10 overall, as well as 11-7 in the SEC. The Razorbacks would originally begin this past week with a 6-3 home win over Central Arkansas, but would struggle during the weekend, being swept at Georgia by final scores of 6-5, 7-3, and 9-8.

Now on a three-game losing streak, the Razorbacks will open play this week on the road Tuesday night at Missouri State. Arkansas will then host Texas A&M this weekend in SEC baseball action.

5. Tennessee Volunteers

Previous Ranking: 8

Rising a total of three spots this week up to No. 5 is Tennessee, as the Volunteers now sit at 26-14 overall, as well as 8-10 in SEC play. After beginning the week at home with a 12-5 loss against Tennessee Tech, the Volunteers would bounce back in a big way during the weekend, sweeping Vanderbilt by final scores of 4-3, 17-1, and 10-5.

Having now won three-straight, Tennessee will return to action Tuesday night at home against Bellarmine. The Volunteers will also remain at home during the weekend for a three-game series with Mississippi State.
