Mississippi State Bulldogs – Will Rogers

Mississippi State’s 2023 starting quarterback is also already known in Rogers, who enters the fall as one of SEC football’s top returning players at the position, as well as most experienced.

Missouri Tigers – Jake Garcia

Similar to Alabama, one of SEC football’s closest quarterback competitions this offseason comes at Missouri, where three names are competing for the starting job. However, as to whom starts week one for the Tigers, I’ll say that Garcia, a Miami transfer, takes the nod at the moment over the returning Brady Cook and Sam Horn.

Ole Miss Rebels – Jaxson Dart

One of the conference’s top quarterback competitions taking place this offseason is in Oxford, where returning starter Jaxson Dart is joined by both Oklahoma State transfer Spencer Sanders and LSU transfer Walker Howard. A competition that will certainly carry over into fall camp, I’ll say however that Dart opens the season as the Rebels starter once again.

South Carolina Gamecocks – Spencer Rattler

South Carolina’s starting quarterback is already set exiting spring, as Spencer Rattler returns this fall for his second season as the starter in Columbia.
