SEC Baseball: Florida, Auburn rise in latest 2023 power rankings

Coming off a loaded weekend of SEC baseball action, here is the latest update of our 2023 power rankings, which features a rise from both Florida and Auburn off big weekends on the diamond.

Florida, Auburn rise in latest 2023 SEC Baseball power rankings

14. Missouri Tigers

Previous Ranking: 13

We begin this week with a new No. 14 team, as Missouri comes in at the bottom spot now sitting at 24-19 overall for the year, as well as 5-16 in SEC play. Missouri would originally begin the week with an 8-3 road win at SIUE on Tuesday, with the Tigers also having been swept at Florida during the weekend by final scores of 11-1, 11-7, and 8-7.

Having now lost three-straight, the Tigers will now host Kansas on Tuesday night, an opponent whom Missouri previously defeated, 8-3, back on March 22. Missouri will then host Ole Miss in SEC baseball action this weekend.

13. Ole Miss Rebels

Previous Ranking: 14

Speaking of the Rebels, Ole Miss rises a spot to No. 13 now sitting at 23-21 overall for the year, as well as 5-16 in SEC play. After beginning the week Tuesday with a 2-1 loss to Mississippi State, Ole Miss would go on to win games one and three over Georgia during the weekend by final scores of 7-3 and 8-7, respectively, as well as drop game two, 7-3.

The Rebels will now return to the field Tuesday at home against Little Rock. Ole Miss will then hit the road for SEC baseball action this weekend at Missouri.
