8. Texas A&M Aggies

Previous Ranking: 7

Dropping a spot to No. 8 this week is Texas A&M, as the Aggies now sit at 25-19 overall, as well as 9-12 in SEC play. The Aggies simply had a rough week on the diamond, which began Tuesday with a 9-2 home loss to Sam Houston, with Texas A&M also having been swept at Arkansas during the weekend by final scores of 7-5, 10-4, and 8-7.

Having now lost five-straight dating back to April 23, the Aggies will return to action Tuesday at home against Tarleton. The Aggies will then host Florida for three games this weekend.

7. Alabama Crimson Tide

Previous Ranking: 8

Rising a spot to No. 7 this week is Alabama, with the Crimson Tide now sitting at 30-15 overall for the year, as well as 9-12 in SEC play. The Crimson Tide would originally begin this past week with a 13-6 home win over Samford on Tuesday, but would then go on to be swept on the road at LSU by final scores of 8-6, 12-8, and 13-11 during the weekend.

Now on a three-game losing streak, Alabama will return to action this weekend at home for three games against Vanderbilt.
