4. South Carolina Gamecocks

The biggest team to drop this week was South Carolina, as the Gamecocks fall two spots to No. 4 now sitting at 35-8 overall, as well as 14-6 in SEC play. Playing only during the weekend, South Carolina would drop games one and two at home to Auburn by final scores of 8-3 and 9-5, respectively, but would however take game three, 8-7.
South Carolina will now play a midweek game Tuesday on the road at Winthrop. The Gamecocks will also travel to Kentucky for three games this weekend.
3. Vanderbilt Commodores

Rising a spot within the top five this week up to No. 3 is Vanderbilt, as the Commodores now sit at 32-11 overall, as well as 16-5 in SEC play. Having entered this past week on a four-game losing streak, Vanderbilt would bounce back in a big way during the weekend, sweeping Kentucky at home by final scores of 6-4, 9-3, and 3-2.
Now on a three-game winning streak, Vanderbilt will return to action Tuesday at home against Georgia State. The Commodores will then travel to Tuscaloosa for three games at Alabama this weekend.
