Previous Ranking: 3

The second team within the top five to rise a spot this week is Florida, as the Gators jump to No. 2 now sitting at 35-10 overall, as well as 14-7 in SEC play. After beginning the week with a 6-2 win over North Florida at home, the Gators would continue their success during the weekend to sweep Missouri by final scores of 11-1, 11-7, and 8-7.

Now on a four-game winning streak, Florida will now return to action Tuesday night against rival Florida State, with the Gators looking for their third win over the Seminoles this season. Florida will then travel to Texas A&M for SEC baseball action this weekend.

Once again remaining in the No. 1 spot in our SEC baseball power rankings is LSU, as the Tigers now sit at 35-8 overall, as well as 15-5 in SEC play. After dropping their midweek contest against Nicholls at home Tuesday, 6-5, the Tigers would bounce back in a big way during the weekend, sweeping Alabama by final scores of 8-6, 12-8, and 13-11.
