For yet another SEC football offseason, one of the biggest talking points across the past couple of months has been the transfer portal. With all 14 teams from across the conference having added at-least one commitment this offseason, let’s take a look at five teams in particular, each of which are among SEC football’s biggest transfer portal winners so far.

5. Georgia Bulldogs

We begin here at No. 5 with defending SEC football, and national, champion Georgia, as the Bulldogs might not necessarily have as many transfer portal additions compared to other teams on this list, but make no mistake, those names could be just as impactful as any.

So far this offseason, the Bulldogs have added three transfers to their 2023 roster, each of which are rated as four-star’s according to the 247Sports transfer rankings. Two of those names come on the offensive side of the ball as well in wide receivers Dominic Lovett and RaRa Thomas, both of which transfer within the SEC from Missouri and Mississippi State, respectively, with each also having the potential to be major impact players this upcoming fall.

The Bulldogs have also added a name on defense in Smoke Bouie, a cornerback who should both provide depth at the position, as well as potentially see a noteworthy amount of snaps. Bouie, a former four-star prospect out of Bainbridge High School in Georgia, was originally a commit to the Bulldogs, but would decommit and eventually spend his freshman season at Texas A&M, where he had only four tackles a year ago.
