4. Kentucky Wildcats

Remaining in the SEC East, Kentucky sits in the No. 4 spot on this list, as the Wildcats have landed eight total commitments via the transfer portal so far. Of those eight, there is also a name who is undoubtedly the biggest in quarterback Devin Leary, an NC State transfer who comes to the SEC as one of the conference’s more experienced signal callers, owning career marks of a 60.2 CMP% for 6,807 yards and a 62:16 TD:INT ratio with the Wolfpack.

Joining Leary on offense are four others so far, a majority of which come along the offensive line in Tanner Bowles (Alabama), Courtland Ford (USC), and Marques Cox (Northern Illinois). In addition to those three, the Wildcats have also added a noteworthy in-conference transfer at running back in Vanderbilt’s Ray Davis, who rushed for 1,042 yards (No. 4 in SEC) and five touchdowns on 232 attempts a year ago.

On the defensive side of the ball, Kentucky has added three transfers so far, two of which come in the secondary in JQ Hardaway (Cincinnati) and Jantzen Dunn (Ohio State). The Wildcats have also added a defensive lineman in North Carolina transfer Keeshawn Silver, who could easily make an impact in Kentucky’s front seven this upcoming fall.
