3. Ole Miss Rebels

Sitting in the No. 3 spot is Ole Miss and head coach Lane Kiffin, as the Rebels have seen success in the transfer portal once again this offseason, landing the most commitments of any SEC football program. Similar to both Kentucky and Georgia previously as well, arguably the biggest of those transfers came on the offensive side of the ball, in particular at quarterback.

The Rebels have added a pair of transfer quarterbacks in Oklahoma State’s Spencer Sanders and LSU’s Walker Howard to a QB room that already returned starter Jaxson Dart, as well as a pair of wide receivers in Chris Marshall (Texas A&M) and Tre Harris (Louisiana Tech). Ole Miss also added one of the AAC’s top tight ends a year ago in Memphis transfer Caden Prieskorn, as well as Victor Curne from Washington along the offensive line.

Defensively, the Rebels have also added multiple names in the secondary such as Zamari Walton (Georgia Tech), DeShawn Gaddie (North Texas), and John Saunders (Miami, OH), each of which are experienced. Ole Miss has also added two experienced linebackers in Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste (UCF) and Monty Montgomery (Louisville), as well as a defensive lineman in NC State transfer Joshua Harris.

The Rebels have also added a special teams transfer in Texas A&M’s Caden Davis, who went six-for-six on extra points last season, as well as one-for-three on field goals.
