10. Auburn Tigers

Previous Ranking: 10

Another one of those teams that remains in their previous ranking despite a big week is Auburn at No. 10, as the Tigers now sit at 27-19-1 overall, as well as 11-13 in SEC play. The Tigers originally began this past weekend with a 3-0 loss to LSU in game one, but would bounce back in a big way in games two and three, winning by final scores of 8-6 and 12-2, respectively.

Auburn will now travel to Samford on Tuesday night, an opponent whom the Tigers previously defeated back on April 18, 13-3. The Tigers will then travel to Ole Miss for three games this weekend.

9. Kentucky Wildcats

Previous Ranking: 9

That same conversation can be had for Kentucky as well, as the Wildcats remain at No. 9 sitting at 33-13 for the year, as well as 14-10 in SEC play. Kentucky would play only three games this past weekend, sweeping South Carolina by final scores of 7-3, 14-7, and 9-2 in what was one of SEC baseball’s top matchups of the week.

Having now won three-straight, the Wildcats will return to action Tuesday against Tennessee Tech. Kentucky will then travel to Tennessee for three games this weekend.
