8. Texas A&M Aggies
Previous Ranking: 8
The fourth consecutive team that the same statement could apply to is Texas A&M remaining at No. 8, as the Aggies now sit at 28-20 overall, as well as 11-13 in SEC play. After defeating Tarleton on Tuesday night, 6-5, the Aggies would go on to drop game one to Florida, 6-5, but would bounce back with victories in games two and three by final scores of 15-2 and 3-2, respectively.
Looking ahead, Texas A&M is now set to return to action Tuesday night against UT Rio Grande. The Aggies will also remain at home during the weekend, as Alabama comes to College Station.
7. Tennessee Volunteers
Previous Ranking: 5
Dropping two spots to No. 7 this week is Tennessee, as the Volunteers now sit at 32-16 overall for the year, as well as 12-12 in SEC play. After beginning the week with a 13-3 win over Wofford, the Volunteers would go on to win game one at Georgia, 12-3, but would see their nine-game winning streak snapped by dropping games two and three, 3-1 and 9-4, respectively.
The Volunteers will now open this week Tuesday night at home against Austin Peay. Tennessee will then face Kentucky this weekend in SEC baseball action.
