SEC fans, here is a look at some of the biggest headlines that you need to know from across the conference Monday and Tuesday, which included Georgia landing a basketball transfer commitment, Auburn’s Allen Flanigan entering the transfer portal, and more.

Auburn G Allen Flanigan enters transfer portal

After four seasons with the Tigers, Auburn senior guard Allen Flanigan entered the transfer portal Monday. A career 8.5 PPG scorer who has started in 69-of-114 games since the 2019-20 season, Flanigan started in 19-of-34 games a year ago for the Tigers, averaging 10.1 PPG and 5 RPG on 75.8% shooting from the free throw line.

George Washington transfer F Hunter Dean commits to LSU

LSU basketball landed a commitment via the transfer portal Monday from George Washington forward Hunter Dean. Dean started in 26-of-30 games this past season at George Washington, averaging 8.7 PPG and 6.1 RPG on 64.1% shooting from the field.

7 SEC teams ranked in latest college baseball Top 25 rankings

There were a total of seven SEC teams ranked in D1Baseball’s latest college baseball Top 25 rankings Monday. Those teams, and rankings, were as follows: LSU (2), Arkansas (3), Vanderbilt (5), South Carolina (6), Florida (7), Kentucky (17), and Tennessee (23).

S Kareem Jackson signs with Denver Broncos

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, safety Kareem Jackson has re-signed with the Denver Broncos. A former 2010 first round pick out of Alabama, Jackson played in 17 games with the Broncos this past season, amassing a career-high 94 tackles with three PD, two TFL, and two FR.

Niagara transfer G Noah Thomasson commits to Georgia

Georgia basketball landed a noteworthy transfer commitment Tuesday from Noah Thomasson, a guard who joins the Bulldogs from Niagara. Thomasson started in all 31 games for Niagara this past season, averaging 19.5 PPG (led MAAC), 3.8 RPG, and 3.5 APG on 38.6% shooting from three to earn honors that included First Team All-MAAC and All-MAAC Tournament.
