SEC fans, here is a look back at some of the biggest headlines across the conference from Tuesday and Wednesday, which featured Alabama adding a transfer from Louisiana, Texas A&M landing a four-star safety, and more.

4-star S Jordan Pride commits to Texas A&M

Texas A&M landed a noteworthy football commitment Tuesday from Jordan Pride, who is now the highest-rated commit in the Aggies 2024 class. Pride is rated as a four-star safety according to the 247Sports Composite out of Blountstown High School in Florida.

Louisiana transfer CB Trey Amos commits to Alabama

Alabama football landed a transfer addition to their secondary Tuesday in cornerback Trey Amos, who joins the Crimson Tide after three seasons at Louisiana. Amos is coming off one of the best seasons of his collegiate career a year ago, amassing 35 tackles with eight PD and a TFL across 11 games.

SF Devon Pryor commits to LSU

LSU basketball and head coach Matt McMahon added the first commitment of their 2024 class Tuesday in Devon Pryor. Pryor, a small forward, is currently unranked according to the 247Sports Composite out of PSAT-XEA Academy in Texas.

2 SEC schools included in Top 8 for 4-star CG Jase Richardson

There were two SEC schools, Alabama and Arkansas, who were included in the top eight for Jase Richardson on Tuesday, with the Crimson Tide and Razorbacks joined by Cincinnati, Michigan State, San Diego State, Stanford, USC, and Virginia. Richardson is rated as a four-star combo guard in the 2024 class out of Bishop Gorman High School in Nevada.

Georgia G Jusaun Holt enters transfer portal

After transferring from Alabama last offseason, Georgia guard Jusaun Holt entered the transfer portal Wednesday after one season in Athens. Holt started in 11-of-31 games during the 2022-23 season at Georgia, averaging 3.2 PPG and 3.3 RPG, while also shooting 80% from the free throw line.
