With only one weekend remaining in the 2023 SEC baseball regular season, let’s take a look at the latest update our power rankings, which features a new No. 1 team atop the list for the first time this season.

Auburn, Florida rise in latest 2023 SEC Baseball power rankings

14. Ole Miss Rebels

Previous Ranking: 14

We begin this week with Ole Miss once again, as the Rebels remain at No. 14 now sitting at 25-26 overall, as well as 6-21 in SEC play. The Rebels would drop all three games during the weekend at home to Auburn, being swept by final scores of 16-4, 8-2, and 13-5.

Now on a three-game losing streak, the Rebels will begin play this week Tuesday at home against Austin Peay. Ole Miss will then conclude the regular season during the weekend with three games on the road at Alabama.

13. Georgia Bulldogs

Previous Ranking: 11

One of the biggest fallers of the week was Georgia dropping two spots to No. 13, as the Bulldogs now sit at 28-24 overall, as well as 10-17 in SEC play. After beginning the week Wednesday night with a 9-2 home win over SC Upstate, the Bulldogs would go on to be swept during the weekend at Missouri by final scores of 13-3, 14-12, and 5-4.

Having now lost three-straight, Georgia will begin this week at home Tuesday against Western Carolina. The Bulldogs will then conclude the SEC regular season during the weekend at home against LSU.
