The first SEC baseball team to rise this week is Mississippi State up to No. 12, as the Bulldogs now sit at 26-24 overall, as well as 8-19 in conference play. Playing during the weekend, the Bulldogs would drop game one at LSU by a final score of 12-1, but would bounce back in a big way during games two and three, winning by finals of 9-4 and 14-13, respectively.

Mississippi State is now set to play Tuesday night at home against North Alabama. The Bulldogs will then conclude the SEC regular season during the weekend against Texas A&M.

Also rising a spot up to No. 11 this week is Missouri, as the Tigers now sit at 30-20 overall, as well as 10-17 in SEC play. The Tigers were one of SEC baseball’s hottest teams during the weekend at home, sweeping Georgia by final scores of 13-3, 14-12, and 5-4.
