SEC Baseball: Auburn, Florida rise in latest 2023 power rankings

6. Alabama Crimson Tide

Also remaining at No. 6 this week is Alabama, as the Crimson Tide now sit at 35-17 overall, as well as 13-14 in SEC play. Opening the week Tuesday with a 7-2 win over Troy, the Crimson Tide would go on to fall in game one at Texas A&M during the weekend, 11-5, but would bounce back to take games two and three by final scores of 12-1 and 11-0, respectively.

Alabama will now conclude regular season play this weekend at home against Ole Miss.

5. South Carolina Gamecocks

Previous Ranking: 5

Remaining at No. 5 as we enter the final weekend of the SEC baseball regular season is South Carolina, as the Gamecocks now sit at 37-14 overall, as well as 15-11 in conference play. The Gamecocks would originally fall to North Florida on Tuesday, 8-5, and would go on to also drop games one and three at Arkansas, 4-1 and 5-1, respectively, as well as win game two, 3-1.

South Carolina will now open this week Tuesday night against Charlotte. The Gamecocks will then conclude the regular season at home against Tennessee this weekend.
