SEC Baseball: Vanderbilt, Tennessee rise in latest 2023 power rankings

12. Missouri Tigers
Previous Ranking: 11
Dropping a spot to No. 12 this week is Missouri, as the Tigers concluded the regular season at 30-23 overall, as well as 10-20 in SEC play. The Tigers would simply struggle this past weekend on the road at Auburn, being swept by final scores of 4-0, 7-2, and 9-7.
Missouri now enters the SEC Tournament as the conference’s No. 12 seed, beginning play Tuesday night against Auburn.
11. Georgia Bulldogs

One of the biggest risers this week was Georgia, as the Bulldogs jumped two spots to No. 11 after concluding the regular season at 29-26 overall, as well as 11-19 in SEC play. The Bulldogs would originally drop games one and two against LSU during the weekend, 8-5 and 8-4, respectively, but would go on to take game three by a final of 9-5, a result that snapped a five-game losing streak.
Georgia is now the No. 11 seed in the SEC Baseball Tournament, and will open play Tuesday against South Carolina.
